Oregon State Football: 3 potential transfer options for QB Marcus McMaryion

The immediate future for the Tennessee Volunteers has no clarity at all. They lost the stars of the offense in quarterback Joshua Dobbs and running back Alvin Kamara. Moreover, head coach Butch Jones has one of the hottest seats in the country after failing to meet expectations for two straight seasons.

Tennessee needs to add another QB to the group if both junior quarterback Quentin Dormady and freshman quarterback Jarrett Guarantano do not work out in the coming years. Adding McMaryion would give the Vols a dual threat option that more closely mirrors the versatility that Dobbs gave them.

Knoxville is not the only SEC East team that could or has been a popular destination for PAC-12 and Oregon State transfers. Former Beaver Luke del Rio got his chance to start with the Florida Gators just one year ago and should have another chance at the starting job at some point in 2017.
