There’s little that former Penn State defensive tackle Kam Carter could not do as a staple on the EMCC defensive line. He even intercepted a pass during the 2016 season. If he can keep his act together in 2017, then he’ll be a force to be reckoned with for the next two years at Pitt.

The best thing about Carter was the hope that he sprung among all EMCC and Last Chance U fans. He really is a tremendous talent and one that should not go to waste. Much like Ronald Ollie in the first season of the show, you just want him to find peace and success.

However, that’s not always the case with all the skilled players that consistently come about of EMCC. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Carter wants to become one of the main parts of the Pitt defense and play an integral role in the team’s success in 2017.

There’s some uncertainty surrounding who will start for Pitt at the two defensive tackle spots this season and Carter could be the answer for them.
