After a heartbreaker on the road, the Dawgs return home to face a sneaky entertaining Kentucky team. Kentucky fought back from the brink in 2016, relying on a handful of talented running backs as well as dual-threat quarterback Stephen Johnson. Johnson returns in 2017, as does leading rusher Benjamin Snell, Jr.

The Wildcats could be quietly good this season and may very well go bowling again, but they’ve got a pretty decent-sized Achilles heel to patch up with their defense.

A fun, back-and-forth game ensues for the first half before UGA finally pulls away on the strength of an impressive Senior Day performance from Chubb, who treats the fans in Athens to one last dazzling performance between the hedges. He’ll rush for a pair of second-half touchdowns, putting the game away and ending the Bulldog’s regular season SEC slate with a bang. He and Michel will both eclipse 100 yards in their final game in Athens.

Final Score: Georgia 35, Kentucky 24 (9-2, 7-1 SEC)
