Georgia Football: Game-by-game predictions for 2017
A deserved break for the Dawgs after a tough loss. It should be noted that Samford isn’t a pushover — they finished last season ranked No. 23 in the FCS, and put up 41 points on Mississippi State last season.
Georgia’s defense is much better than Mississippi State’s though, and they won’t allow those numbers. Samford doesn’t have the athletes to match up with UGA’s skill position stars, and the Bulldogs’ offensive line will have little problem carving out holes for Chubb and Michel.
