It’s tough to get a read on Missouri this season. Second-year coach Barry Odom returns practically everyone from what was already a pretty potent offense. Between junior quarterback Drew Lock, who threw for over 3,300 yards last season, and a pair of running backs who each eclipsed 750 rushing yards apiece, the Tigers have weapons aplenty. There are more than enough pieces here to give the Bulldogs headaches.

Even if Lock is able to find some success against the UGA secondary, the Missouri defense will have serious trouble slowing down the Bulldogs’ offense. Expect a huge game from Eason, and perhaps a career day for Isaac Nauta, who presents a matchup nightmare for the Tigers.

Mizzou might strike first, and they might even put some fear in the hearts of the fans in Athens. It’s highly unlikely that they’ll be within single digits in the fourth quarter, though. UGA’s grip on the SEC East tightens, and they keep their unblemished conference record intact. The Dawgs begin receiving hype as a dark horse playoff contender.

Final Score: Georgia 41, Missouri 20 (6-1, 4-0 SEC)
