No. 4 – Sam Darnold Who?

USC and UCLA are bitter rivals. Since Rosen was injured, the talk around Los Angeles and the national media has been about the new golden boy, Sam Darnold. If you were Josh Rosen wouldn’t you be tired of hearing about how great Sam Darnold is? Wouldn’t you want to prove that you’re best QB in college football? If anybody was going to be the future No. 1 overall draft pick, wouldn’t you want it to be you?

Everything about Josh Rosen suggests he is competitive so you know this Sam Darnold and USC talk has to eat at his core. Remember this time last year UCLA and Rosen were being touted as National Championship contenders, and Sam Darnold wasn’t even starting on his own team.

It has to be frustrating for Rosen to see all the spotlight shift from him and the Bruins to this “Johnny come lately” playing for his bitter rival. Josh Rosen’s competitive streak is going to give him maniacal motivation to silence the Trojans and every NFL scout that doubts he is the best.
