UCLA Football: 5 reasons why Josh Rosen will win the Heisman
No. 1 – It’s a contract year
This year is Josh Rosen’s “contract year.” He is playing for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. What more motivation does a player need? When you have a nickname like “Chosen Rosen” as a freshman, and you live up to it, you have the goods! There is little doubt in any NFL scouts mind if the UCLA signal caller has the arm talent and God-given ability to be a NFL franchise quarterback.
Last year’s injury and performance threw a wet blanket on the red-hot Rosen. Now, questions surrounding Rosen’s NFL future have started popping up. His durability has become an issue and some experts have questioned whether or not he really “loves football”? These seem like foolish questions for a guy who played through injury with a shaky offensive line and new offensive coordinator last year.
