2. Alabama

The power vacuum between Alabama and the rest of the SEC West is noticeable. Auburn and LSU have been the biggest challengers. Neither has walked away with the SEC West Title since Auburn almost won the National Championship in 2013.

Alabama is the overwhelming favorite again. Sophomore Bama quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back Bo Scarbrough, receiver Calvin Ridley, and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick form possibly the most talented roster in college football.

Auburn did not fare well against the Tide last year, not even managing a touchdown. The thing that Malzahn needs to do above all else to please the Auburn fan base is defeat their in-state rival in the Iron Bowl.

All eyes are on Jordan-Hare Stadium on Nov. 25 when Auburn faces Alabama for the 2017 edition of the Iron Bowl.
