1. Jarrett Stidham doesn’t live up to the hype

All the expectation associated with Auburn revolves around Stidham. He’s the guy that can make Malzahn’s offensive scheme happen. Stidham played well during his limited action with the Baylor Bears in 2015.

Stidham shined against Kansas State where he threw for over 400 yards. Ultimately, the scandal ridden culture at Baylor caused Stidham to transfer to Auburn. If he does not pan out, Malzahn will have to go with White again.

Offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey has the task of working with Stidham. Lindsey is back with Auburn for the first time since he was an offensive analyst with the program when they went to the BCS National Title Game with Nick Marshall.

When it comes down to it, anyone that expects Auburn to do well, expects Stidham to be a stud. He’s already garnering top five Heisman odds and first round NFL Draft talk.
