Wake Forest Demon Deacons

2006 impact player: Ryan Plackemeier, P #81, 93 overall (yes, a punter)
Today: TE Cam Serigne

What do we say about Wake Forest? What kind of team has its highest rated player its punter? Wake, that’s who. Even worse, the dude only lasted four years in the NFL. How impactful is a great punt in a video game? Yeah.

Yes, Wake was so bad in 2006 their highest rated player was a punter. Today, the defense is pretty solid and the offense is pretty dismal. Cam Serigne would be their offensive impact player for sure. Cam has 1,500-plus receiving yards and 12 touchdowns over his three year career. That’s the state of Wake offense.
