5. Michigan beats Ohio State, loses to Penn State

Ohio State owned Michigan over the last 14 years. The Wolverines beat the Buckeyes once in the last 14 tries. Unless you include the vacated win from Ohio State in 2010. Brady Hoke was the only Michigan coach to best Ohio State since 2004.

Harbaugh got close last year to defeating the Buckeyes. J.T. Barrett managed to get a controversial fourth down conversion that kept Ohio State alive to score a touchdown on the following play to end the game in overtime.

Michigan got so close last season that they’ll be motivated to get there this year. They could be at a high-point if they defeat Wisconsin the week before. A lot will depend on how much momentum they carry into the matchup.

Penn State won the Big Ten Championship last year. Their only loss in the Big Ten was an embarrassing 49-10 defeat at Michigan Stadium. No team will be more motivated to defeat Michigan than Penn State. Trace McSorley and Saquon Barkley will outdo the young Michigan defense to get revenge for last season.
