Salvon Ahmed was classified as an athlete as he is just that. He is elusive, agile, and extremely fast with the ability to make college level defenders miss at any time. Browning will love to get the ball to a player like him.

There’s not much room for playing time in the Washington backfield. Gaskin and senior Lavon Coleman will get most of the carries. However, Ahmed can be used in a multitude of ways at really any skill position.

Ahmed was the highest-rated commit for Washington. Peterson should be salivating at the chance to use Ahmed in different offensive looks.

While Ahmed might not get a ton of exposure in 2017, he’ll get the opportunity to make his mark. His role will grow in the coming years with the Husky offense.
