Getting the chance to start alongside players like Azeem Victor and Keishawn Bierria at linebacker is a great experience for any freshman. Amandre Williams is a three-star recruit from the 2016 class that redshirted his first year.

Junior Trevis Bartlett will get some of the looks when fatigue builds up with Williams. Bartlett racked up 4.0 sacks in limited time in 2016. All of the talent at Washington’s disposal at linebacker is a good problem to have for any team.

Williams needs a good start to the year to show he’s ready to take on a huge role. The Husky defense is anchored by it’s linebackers. Sub par effort will not be tolerated by Peterson and defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski.

Washington is one of those programs that turns three-star recruits into starts. Williams fits the bill of a potential star at outside linebacker.
