Air Force has enjoyed Boise State’s number in each of the past three seasons. In 2014, Air Force ruined Bryan Harsin’s chance at a perfect conference record by late September. Two years ago, the Falcons upset the Broncos 37-30 in Boise to earn the MWC Mountain’s spot in the conference championship game. Last year, they replicated the victory with a 27-20 takedown of Boise State at home.

Troy Calhoun’s team has won 10 games in two of the past three seasons. Last year, the Falcons knocked off both Navy and Army to win the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy for the second time over that span. Their run-heavy option offense gives the Broncos defense fits, and it will be interesting to see if they have figured them out this season.

Air Force has a tough schedule this season that includes a trip to Michigan. They also lost 10 defensive starters from last year and must replace several key offensive players as well.

Final: Boise State 24, Air Force 20 (9-2, 6-1 MWC)

Once again, this contest is going to be decided by a single score. For the first time since 2013, though, the result will going in Boise State’s favor. Air Force will get over 300 rushing yards, but their scores will come after the Broncos have already built an insurmountable lead. For the first time, Bryan Harsin will knock off the Falcons as Boise State’s head coach.
