No. 34: Republica – Ready to Go

Switching gears to a little more of the sub-pop genre, one-hit wonder Republica can add some energy then the Red Bull is running a bit low in the cooler.

Ready to Go was never a huge hit, peaking at number 56, but it got enough airplay to find its way into some movie soundtracks and pop culture circles. Its also one of those songs whose lyrics can be read as a football battle cry.
