3. Really, you should just watch Quinton Flowers.

In a game with plenty of interesting storylines, the most exciting one is behind center for the Bulls. A high 3-star recruit who was offered a scholarship to play receiver or defensive back at a handful of blue-blood schools, Flowers instead chose USF for a chance for play quarterback.

It’s safe to say that it’s paid off for both sides: USF has gone 20-7 in Flowers’ starts. The senior quarterback put up video game numbers in 2016, throwing for over 2,800 yards while rushing for over 1,500.

It’s not often that Flowers has the spotlight to himself on a Saturday. Take advantage of the unique viewing experience that Week Zero offers and watch the most exciting dual-threat quarterback this side of Lamar Jackson go to work. The Spartans were far from world-beaters on defense in 2016. They’re not likely to have many answers for Flowers and company. Expect points early and often.
