Ohio State struggled to defeat a hapless Michigan State team last year. East Lansing was not favorable for Buckeye squad needing a dominating effort. This year, Michigan State is sure to be a better team in 2017.

Head coach Mark Dantonio is too good to let Michigan State slip up like this two years in a row. The Spartans won’t make a full recovery. They’ll get going in the right direction. Running back L.J. Scott will be one of the best in the Big Ten. He’s the only threat to Ohio State.

The Buckeyes are all-around greater than Michigan State. Getting the Spartans at home makes it easier. They could get a second straight victory after taking care of Iowa on the road. Both would be quality victories.

Michigan State, Iowa and Nebraska should all be bowl teams. They’re not AP Top 25 teams, though. In fact, none are in the same realm as the Buckeyes. Anything less than dominating efforts would not be good enough for Meyer.
