Two straight road victories against Baylor and the TCU Horned Frogs would be huge for Herman in his first season with Texas. That would eliminate two of the toughest in-state conference opponents that the Horns face this year.

TCU quarterback Kenny Hill tends to turn the ball over a lot. Texas has a linebacker group led by Malik Jefferson and Anthony Wheeler that could force quite a few fumbles and interceptions. Things could get ugly quickly if TCU does not win the turnover battle and the Texas offense gets going.

The biggest threats Texas has to worry about against TCU are running back Kyle Hicks and wide receiver KaVontae Turpin. Turpin missed last year’s game against the Horns but Hicks helped TCU dominate Texas by a 22-point margin.

Texas is sure to be looking for revenge against the Frogs. They have not defeated head coach Gary Patterson and the Horned Frogs since 2013. This will be the first time that Texas upends TCU in four seasons.
