College Football: 20 teams guaranteed to get double-digit wins in 2017

The SEC West is going to be an incredibly tough division to win for any team that is not the Alabama Crimson Tide. No team has won the SEC West since the Auburn Tigers went to the BCS National Championship Game in 2013, losing to Jameis Winston and the Florida State Seminoles.

Auburn has the quarterback now with Baylor transfer Jarrett Stidham to make things happen. This could be Gus Malzahn’s final season with the Tigers if he cannot elevate the program back to national contention this year.

The Auburn defense and running backs should be among the SEC’s best in 2017. With Kamryn Pettway and Kerryon Johnson, Stidham’s transition to the Auburn offensive scheme should be made much easier.

The first two weeks will say a lot about how this season will go for Auburn. They face a tough Group of Five test in Georgia Southern and then travel to South Carolina to face the former National Champion Clemson Tigers in Week 2. Dethroning Clemson would be a good start for Auburn.
