College Football: 20 teams guaranteed to get double-digit wins in 2017

Aside from a matchup against the UCLA Bruins, Memphis should clear through their non-conference slate without issue. Games against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, Southern Illinois Salukis, and Georgia State Panthers will all favor Memphis.

The Tigers won eight games last year because of a more grueling schedule than they have in 2017. Road games against Houston and Tulsa are the toughest matches that Memphis has away from home.

Senior quarterback Riley Ferguson returns with a ton of talent to work with. The receiving corps has seniors Anthony Miller, Phil Mayhue and Sam Craft to form possibly the best group of all Group of Five teams.

Memphis is a favorite to take home the American Athletic Conference Championship in 2017. They’ll have to get over the hurdles of defeating South Florida, Houston, and Navy, to reach that point this season.
