College Football: 20 teams guaranteed to get double-digit wins in 2017

Boise State would have had a tremendous finish to the season if they had not fallen flat on their face against the Baylor Bears in the Cactus Bowl. The Broncos were a one-loss team ranked inside the top 25 before their matchup with the Air Force Falcons. They could not manage to win either game against Baylor or Air Force, contributing to their two-game losing streak to finish the year.

Once again, Boise State is one of the most talented teams in the Group of Five conferences. Junior quarterback Brett Rypien has not only made a name for himself at the college level, but he could be a serviceable option in the NFL as well.

Boise State’s toughest out of conference tests are Washington State and BYU. They need to at least split those two games and take care of business in the Mountain West.

When it comes down to it, Boise State and South Florida look like the two contenders to represent the Group of Five in a New Year’s Six Bowl.
