Browning and Josh Rosen are two of the best in the Pac-12. If Rosen stays healthy this is a treat. UCLA is not as good of a team. The Bruins still present a tough test, though. Head coach Jim Mora never seems to get UCLA to the level of expectation.

Washington needs to take advantage of easier wins. The Pac-12 is a tough conference this year. No one is going down easily. Winning cross-division matchups gets the Huskies credit. USC is the only Pac-12 South team that’s a sure competitor.

UCLA defeated Washington in the last two meetings. The Bruins were more talented both times but Washington is clearly the better team now. The Huskies get UCLA at home this year and on the road next year.

A return to the playoff means no more than one regular season loss. Slip-ups can only happen against quality opponents. Losing to UCLA would be hard to recover from.
