1. J.T. Barrett’s response

Both J.T. Barrett and Mike Weber had a rough finish last year. Barrett threw three interceptions and zero touchdowns in the Buckeyes’ final two games. Ohio State’s offense staggered against Clemson. They were shut out in a 31-point defeat.

Getting back on track starts now. They can get back to normal in Week 1. Ohio State had a hot start to the 2016 season. The same is expected this year. Getting off to a hot start comes down to Barrett. OSU’s offense goes and he goes.

Barrett could be the best quarterback in Ohio State history. Ohio State does not have a backup option. He has the best chance to win the Heisman on OSU’s roster. A 300-yard passing performance is expected against Indiana.

How Barrett plays against Indiana tells a lot. Ohio State doesn’t have a break before OU. His four touchdown performance against the Sooners contributed to the victory a year ago. Barrett’s road to a great season starts against Indiana.
