2. Richard Lagow‘s connection with Simmie Cobbs

Oklahoma State transfer QB Richard Lagow had a crazy season. He tossed 19 touchdowns and 17 picks. Lagow’s best target is receiver Simmie Cobbs. Junior Donavan Hale is a good target. Lagow has everything he needs.

Indiana’s success banks on the passing game. Junior rusher Mike Majette contributes some. The running back stable has weapons, especially Majette. Sophomore Devonte Williams is a name to watch.

Cobbs is the star of Indiana’s offense. Lagow needs to consistently find him. He’s had a rough road up to this point. Cobbs was suspended for the 2016 season opener. His status is in question. A torn ACL also plagued Cobbs.

Lagow getting over the 3,500 yard mark is important. Cobbs and senior transfer tight end Ian Thomas will help him get there.
