Here’s how to stream college football’s premier pregame show, College GameDay, as they broadcast live from Bloomington, Indiana to open the season.
To celebrate this long Labor Day Weekend filled with football, fans get two College GameDay broadcasts for the price of one. The weekend kicks off with the GameDay crew going to Bloomington, Indiana for the first time in the show’s history.
While it will be the show’s first time broadcasting from the Indiana campus or even a game with Indiana involved, their opponent is no stranger to the College GameDay stage. Ohio State football has hosted the show 15 times and been a part of the game 37 times. Both are second to Alabama.
Lee Corso famously picked Ohio State as the first headgear he ever put on, and a legend was born. He seems to still have an affinity for the Brutus Buckeye head because he picked them all three times he had the chance last season. They served him well until the College Football Playoff Semifinal in which Clemson hammered Ohio State 31-0.
This is College GameDay’s first trip to Bloomington, but it is far from their first visit to the state of Indiana. The show has been hosted by Notre Dame eight times. Purdue hosted once in 2004. GameDay went to the Big Ten Championship in Indianapolis three of the last four years.
The one disappointing thing about this first time for the Indiana Hoosiers is their fans won’t get the full GameDay experience. Because it is a Thursday night game, they aren’t broadcasting from a quad or some field near the stadium. They will be running it like a traditional onsite pregame show inside Memorial Stadium. They are letting fans in early enough to watch, so hopefully, we still get some signs and that trademark crowd noise.

Will Corso make the safe pick and put on the Brutus head once more? Or, will the eternal showman take the heavy underdog in front of the home crowd?
