3. Reggie Bonnafon rushes for 100 yards and has 100 receiving yards

The Purdue Boilermakers will have a big challenge on their hands when they face the Louisville Cardinals. Reggie Bonnafon will be a player to watch as I predict he’ll have at least 100 receiving and 100 rushing yards in this game.

Multi-purpose is a word that takes on new meaning when discussing Bonnafon. He’s gone from quarterback, to wide receiver to running back over the past few seasons and still managed to remain productive.

Bonnafon had 13 receptions for 159 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. It’s not a bad statline considering how much Lamar Jackson did for the offense. This season, the Cardinals looking to go the more traditional route and thats where Bonnafon comes in.

He brings a wealth of experience in the running and passing game and is a good safety valve for Jackson to have if he finds himself in trouble.

Bonnafon should leave this game as a dynamic playmaker before its all over. Next to Jackson, he’s not a bad option to have. He took on reps at running back this past spring when Jeremy Smith went down with injury. He’s a team-first guy which is good for the Cardinals.
