Ohio State Football: 3 things we learned from win vs. Indiana
2. Indiana is a threat
The first half of this game showed that the Indiana Hoosiers are no longer a doormat in the Big Ten. Head coach Tom Allen has turned the Hoosier offense into an explosive run-pass option offense. Indiana was able to keep Ohio State off balance for a good portion of the game by moving fast and stretching the defense vertically and horizontally.
The Hoosiers did not have much of a run game versus the Buckeyes, but there quarterback Richard Lagow showed he could really spin it. He completed 40-of-65 passes for 410 yards and three touchdowns.
It was a very impressive performance by the young man. The Hoosiers’ top receivers had good games as well. Simmie Cobbs Jr. and Luke Timian combined for 21 catches for 221 yards against a talented Buckeye secondary.
The rest of the Big Ten better not take this Hoosiers team lightly. They are very capable of handing a loss to one of the heavy hitters in the conference.
