4. Bobby Petrino can win close games

Louisivlle head coach Bobby Petrino is starting to show us that he can win close games against inferior opponents. Last year, the Cardinals pulled out a last second victory against the Virginia Cavaliers. Now, they beat Purdue by only seven points in the final minutes.

The next step for Petrino is actually defeating some top-tier teams in close battles. Louisville was beat by Clemson in the final seconds of their meeting in 2016. That will be one of the best games of the year in the ACC once again.

Week 2’s game between Louisville and UNC is sure to be a close one. UNC was defeated by Cal by five points in Week 1. They’ll test Petrino and the Cardinals to see how good of an all-around team they will be in 2017.
