4. J.K. Dobbins should be the starting RB

With projected starting running back, sophomore Mike Weber sitting out the Week 1 game vs. Indiana, true freshman J.K. Dobbins stole the spotlight. Dobbins rushed for 181 yards, leading the way for the Ohio State offense all game.

Weber is expected to get the bulk of the carries this year since he has a good freshman campaign. However, Dobbins looked much better against Indiana than Weber did at the end of the 2016 season. Weber’s production tailed off in the final games.

Both Weber and Dobbins are sure to get quite a few carries against the Sooners. Ohio State still has some things to figure out in the receiving corps. In the meantime, they’ll rely on the rushing attack to move the ball.
