After an exciting Week 1 of college football, the AP Poll has released its updated top 25 for Week 2. Here are the teams who got snubbed.

The 2017 college football season came with a bang.

Week 1 of the season was absolutely packed with high-scoring contests and highly competitive non-conference games between numerous AP Top 25 teams, an entertaining byproduct of college football’s new merit-based playoff system.

Whether it was Michigan’s commanding win over Florida while breaking in 17 first-time starters or the season-ending third quarter injury Deondre Francois suffered in No. 3 Florida State’s heartbreaking loss to top-ranked Alabama, fans from around the country had a plethora of exciting games to watch, and storylines to follow.

As the college football world resets going into Week 2, the AP poll has updated its second rankings following the events of Week 1.

While the vast majority of the teams have stayed the same, with only two new teams — Notre Dame and TCU — entering the charts, and two others — the Texas and West Virginia — losing their spots, many fans will still find fault in their favorite team’s current placements on the AP’s newest rankings.

Especially if their favorite team got snubbed.

Where it was because they lost a close game in Week 1 or they outscored an opponent by 50 points yet failed have their rankings changed, fans and coaches alike will dispute the poll.

Here are five teams who got snubbed by the AP’s Week 2 Top 25 poll.
