Bill Snyder and the Wildcats are off to a hot start in 2017, enough to jump a tough Mountaineer team that played an ACC opponent. Still, Kansas State was impressive in their 55-19 win over Central Arkansas.

Quarterback Jesse Ertz played an efficient game, completing 10 of 16 passes for 333 yards and four scores. Not a single receiver caught more than four passes, but two passed the 100-yard mark while each touchdown went to a different player.

The running game was just as balanced, with no single player rushing for more than 50 yards. Six players tallied at least three rushes, while the Wildcats combined for 186 yards on the ground for the game.

Kansas State got to the quarterback four times too, wreaking havoc against an over-matched Central Arkansas squad. Charlotte is the Wildcats next opponent, another team that has no business being on the same field with the Wildcats.
