1. Devwah Whaley breaks out

Whaley was completely overshadowed by Chase Hayden in Week 1. Hayden rushed 120 yards and one touchdown, while averaging 8.6 yards per carry. On the other hand, Whaley compiled 60 rushing yards and 5.0 yards per carry.

It’s not like Whaley had a bad performance against Florida A&M. But he is the guy now after the unexpected retirement of Rawleigh Williams III before the season. He’s a former four-star recruit with the talent to play at the next level.

David Williams could end up taking some carries away from Whaley. Yet, Whaley will still be the first look in the offensive backfield. The problem is, if Whaley can only manage 60 rushing ayrds against Florida A&M, how many would he tally vs. TCU.

That’s the exact reason that Whaley will have a breakout week. This kid will become a big name in the SEC in 2017. It will only be a matter of time before Whaley becomes the next bit thing at running back coming out of Arkansas.
