1.  Arkansas wins by double digits

The Razorback way involves a lot of clock-grinding and ball control offensive attack. They don’t want to win the game 47-44, they want to win it 17-14. With the running game working to perfection and the Horned Frogs being so careless with the football they’ll have plenty of margin to work with.

Arkansas will lead this game from wire to wire. Every TCU mistake will give the Hogs one more opportunity to stretch that gap. It’s not going to take a miraculous performance by any one player. Instead, each man is just going to have to do his job and execute. That’s the type of team that Bielema is trying to build.

Short fields courtesy of Kenny Hill turnovers combined with an effective rushing attack are going to make the Arkansas lead a comfortable one before the second half gets under way. At that point it’s just an exercise of training punches with the Frogs until the clock runs out.

Breaking through the eight win plateau is becoming more and more important for Bielema who is in his fifth season as the head coach at Arkansas. Bielema has been stuck right in the middle of the SEC West and is going to have to start to climb if he wants to avoid any talk of a hot seat this fall. A loss to TCU won’t turn up the heat that much, but a win could do a lot to push his team over that eight win barrier in 2017.
