Check out the best signs from College GameDay’s Week 2 show. The crew is live from Columbus, Ohio for No. 5 Oklahoma vs. No. 2 Ohio State.

College GameDay is what it is because it is a live show from college campuses. When you take the show away from that core tenant, the show just does not feel the same. Put GameDay inside a stadium on a Thursday night or outside a gigantic, shiny, new dome and it loses something.  For Week 2, the show returns to what makes it special.

The biggest loss at neutral sites are the signs. College students hyped up all week for a game bring it harder than the average person. Ohio State is no exception. The Buckeye faithful also has plenty of practice. Columbus has hosted GameDay a record 16 times, including their final regular season game last season against Michigan.

The opposing quarterback is always a go-to target for fans, but Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is a larger target than most. Mayfield was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest and fleeing February in Arkansas. That’s not terribly embarrassing for a college student.  The problem is a video came out of the arrest. The cops tackled the Heisman finalist as he tried to evade them, which is ripe for jokes when sober you are an elusive D-I athlete. Ohio State fans predictably did not forget this video when they were making their College GameDay signs this week.
