The AP Poll for Week Three is finally out and here’s a breakdown of this week’s winners and losers.

Week Two of the college football season was full of exciting football. One team fell out of the top five while another climbed into it.

After another wild week of top 25 matchups, the Oklahoma Sooners finally looked like they have turned a corner. Four teams fell in the Week Three edition of the AP Poll.

The No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes fell 31-16 to the fifth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners at home. The 14th-ranked Stanford Cardinals fell to the sixth-ranked USC Trojans, 42-24.

Third-ranked Clemson didn’t miss a step at all facing the 17th-ranked Auburn Tigers, winning 14-6. In a close game, 15th-ranked Georgia won a close one 20-19 over 24th-ranked Notre Dame.

Other than that, none of the teams ranked in the AP Top 25 poll took a loss, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t a shakeup in the rankings.

The AP Poll saw the Oklahoma State Cowboys move from 11th to ninth and into the top 10 for the first time this season. Then there’s the UCLA Bruins, who moved to 25th in the AP Poll, the first time they have been ranked this time.
