Big 12 Football 2017: 5 teams on upset alert in Week 3
The final two games on this list include Power Five conference teams facing off against each other in the second of two showdowns. Last year, the Arizona State Sun Devils upended Texas Tech at Sun Devils Stadium in an extremely high-scoring affair, 68-55.
Arizona State running back Kalen Ballage set the pace with a record-breaking eight touchdown performance. Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury will hopefully be a bit more prepared for the Sun Devil attack this year.
The Red Raiders looked very good in their Week 1 performance against a traditionally good FCS program in Eastern Washington. This will be the first true test of starting quarterback Nic Shimonek as he takes over for departed superstar Patrick Mahomes.

This is a chance for not only Texas Tech to establish themselves as an underrated team and dark horse in the Big 12, but also for Kingsbury to save his job. Kingsbury is on the hottest seat of any coach in the conference.
