1. The Edmunds brothers each will get an interception

Terrell and Tremaine Edmunds, safety and linebacker respectively on Virginia Tech football’s vaunted defense, have been a sight to watch so far this season. Tremaine led the Hokies in tackles last game with 14 while also earning 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. Not to be outdone, Terrell had eight tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack and an interception he almost ran back 55 yards for a touchdown.

The Edmunds brothers have been two of the key anchors on the Virginia Tech defense this season. Tremaine is leading the team in tackles so far this season with 21. Terrell is tied for fourth  with 15 tackles.

Despite their abilities, Tremaine has just one interception in his career. Look for both brothers to get an interception this week.

Virginia Tech football prides itself on pressuring quarterbacks and forcing turnovers. So far, the Hokies have forced three turnovers (two interceptions, one fumble) and the Edmunds brothers have been responsible for two out of three of those.

As Virginia Tech looks to avenge a loss in 2013, the defense could find itself putting up points, too. The Hokies won last year’s meeting 54-17 but forced just one turnover in the game.
