3. Rosen continues his Heisman campaign

Josh Rosen is clearly now one of the top five candidates for the Heisman Trophy. Throwing for nearly 900 yards and nine touchdowns in the first two weeks of the season can do that. Not to mention, a heroic performance in the comeback win over Texas A&M.

He has taken a UCLA team that was not supposed to compete in the PAC-12 South in 2017 and led them inside the AP Poll by Week 3. It’s nothing short of incredible what Rosen has done already and if he can stay healthy this performance should continue.

Other top candidates for the Heisman now include Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, USC’s Sam Darnold, Penn State’s Saquon Barkley, Louisville’s Lamar Jackson, and Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph. Rosen is at the top with all of those players.
