Baylor Football: 5 reasons the Bears will beat Duke in Week 3
1. Baylor has nothing to lose
This is a Baylor team that is reeling from two of the most embarrassing losses that any FBS program in the country has experienced. They gave UTSA their first win in program history over a Power Five conference opponent.
The main goal for Baylor, as a whole, is to make some level of progress. Few expect Baylor to actually defeat Duke and that makes them more dangerous. Zero expectations can always give any team the edge.
Rhule can call certain risky plays that are low-risk and high-reward. It’s going to be hard for Duke to know what to expect since Baylor has been nothing of what we expected them to be. They were supposed to at least win a few games in the Big 12.

The biggest reason this game will be entertaining to watch is because it features two teams that need more national attention (both for different reasons). Duke could pull off some real upsets in the ACC this year and Baylor could respond quickly after a slow start.
