The Week 3 college football slate has ranked matchups that are sure to deliver, but here’s a look at this week’s under-the-radar games.

Last week’s under-the-radar matchups were quite entertaining, with two teams almost pulling off upsets in the end.

The Iowa Hawkeyes needed a 5-yard touchdown pass in overtime to beat their rival, the Iowa State Cyclones. The Cyclones and quarterback Jacob Park gave the Hawkeyes defense everything they could handle, but they lost to no avail.

The Michigan State Spartans made their win over the Western Michigan Broncos look easy. They held the Broncos scoreless in the first half and led 14-0 at halftime. Just like that, the Spartans are 2-0 in 2017.

The Oregon Ducks jumped out to a 42-14 lead in their game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Of course, the Cornhuskers came back, scoring 21 points of their own in the second half.

However, Willie Taggart’s Ducks’ football team held fast. Cornerback Ugo Amadi got the team’s fourth interception of the game on Nebraska quarterback Tanner Lee to seal the victory in the final quarter.

Fittingly, the Oregon Ducks had an interception on the Cornhuskers’ first and last drive of the game.

In the Week 3 under-the-radar matchups, a few ranked teams will find their cages rattled a bit. They should be fine but what’s college football without a few upsets?

Let’s take a look at the matchups.
