1. Boston College can’t handle Josh Adams

While Notre Dame did a good job last week containing Sony Michel and Nick Chubb, Georgia did a great job containing Josh Adams. While Adams could possibly be the best player on the Notre Dame offense, barring Equanimeous St. Brown, he did not have much room to work.

Adams rushed for only 53 yards on 19 carries last week. That came just one week after he rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns against Temple. The BC defense is more similar to that of Temple, in terms of speed and athleticism, than Georgia.

This is a great opportunity for Adams to respond in a big way. He could easily get over 300 rushing yards for the season this weekend. To show the ceiling that he actually has, Adams needs to take care of business in Week 3.

When it’s all said and done, Notre Dame could rack up more than 300 rushing yards. A lot rests on the shoulders of Wimbush in the passing game. Yet, Adams can take over after that and really put BC away in the second half.
