1. J.K. Dobbins, Mike Weber both run for over 100 yards

Freshman J.K. Dobbins and sophomore Mike Weber combined for 16 rushing attempts for 101 yards and 1 touchdown. That is a clip of 6.3 yards a rush, why didn’t they get more carries you ask? I don’t have that answer, while the passing game was living a lot to be imagined the running game was pretty solid when given the chance.

With the struggles of the passing game they will lean on Dobbins and Weber to quiet down the panic in Columbus. I won’t be shocked if both backs get at least 16 rushes a piece on Saturday.

Army is only giving up an average of 92.5 yards during the first two games, but they haven’t played a team the caliber of Ohio State. So I expect Dobbins and Weber left, right, center all afternoon against the Black Knights. It’s going to be a long night (no pun intended) for the visitors on Saturday.
