1. Tre Flowers seals the game with a late interception

Every level of the Oklahoma State defense has been impressive at some point during the 2017 campaign. The front seven did a great job in shutting down any attempt from South Alabama to move the ball down the field.

The Jags’ ground attack totaled just 41 yards on 27 carries. The combination of Cole Garvin and Dallas Davis managed less than 150 passing yards as well. However, the South Alabama offense is not even close to matching the talent level of Pitt.

Senior safety Tre Flowers is the most experienced player on this Cowboy defense and racked up 11 tackles through the first two games. Flowers is just waiting to make a big play and no time would be better than against Pitt.
