OK, this may not be a huge upset, but traveling to The Swamp to face a team that began the season in the top-15 would be an eye-opener for Tennessee critics.

The 24th-ranked Florida Gators weren’t on upset alert last week but they’re on this week after their terrible loss to the Michigan Wolverines.

The Gators are 0-1 and still reeling from their 33-17 loss to the Michigan Wolverines in Week One. It remains to be seen if their 10 suspended players for the opener will play here but they’re definitely needed if the Gators hope to win.

The Gators have shuffled between quarterbacks Malik Zaire and Feleipe Franks already during Week One. Neither fared very well with Zaire taking most of the punishment, culminating in a fumble in the endzone for a touchdown.

The good news for Florida is the Tennessee Volunteers have their fair share of issues, too. Quarterback Quinten Dormady found wide receiver Marquez Callaway in the endzone last week for a touchdown as Callaway continues to emerge with the loss of Jauan Jennings for the season due to injury.

Callaway has caught three touchdown passes through two games so far.

Defensively, their run defense continues to improve but after giving up over 500 rushing yards to Georgia Tech, clearly anything is possible.

If the Gators can find their way on offense and frustrate the Volunteers, they could find themselves back in the hunt for title in SEC football play.
