3. Kendall Bussey will be the star of the offensive show.
Coach Sumlin gave junior tailback Kendall Bussey the chance of the season on Saturday night, letting him carry the end of the game as starting running back. And boy did he do well. He accounted for 97 yards and a touchdown that put the Aggies up for good.
The hope is that Bussey gets that chance once more against ULL as the team tries to put together an offensive identity with both Starkel and Hubenak out. Kellen Mond will have to figure out how he’s going to make this season work and Bussey and the rest of the offense has to help him out.
While Trayveon Williams will likely get the start at running back, and deservedly so, look for Bussey to get even more touches than he did last weekend as he has proven his worth to the squad.
Kendall Bussey: Saturday gave me a really good feeling. It's hard being behind two talented RBs, but if I keep working, my time will come.

This is a kid who was considering transferring due to playing behind the likes of Williams and Ford, but his shot has finally come. And with Keith Ford possibly out to an injury, Bussey could see the field the field way more than he anticipated at the start of the season.
My bold prediction for Kendall? Over 150 yards and two touchdowns. Fire away young gun, you’ve earned this shot.
