The UCLA Bruins saw the opposite thing happen that Texas A&M did the last few weeks. Head coach Jim Mora could now be on the hottest seat in the country after his Bruins fell to the Memphis Tigers in Week 3.

Mora was on just as hot of a seat as Kevin Sumlin to start the season, he just came away with the victory against the Aggies in Week 1. Junior quarterback Josh Rosen was not able to save Mora this week and his defense cost him big.

Any time the UCLA defense lets up 48 points to a Group of Five opponent, you have to call the coaches into question. It’s not to say that this is Mora’s fault directly, but he should have prepared his defense better to face the likes of quarterback Riley Ferguson and receiver Anthony Miller.

Considering how good Rosen has been and that the Bruins made their way back into the top 25 for at least one week, Mora could keep his job through the weekend. But, there’s no guarantees for that.
