1. J.T. Barrett improves his accuracy

After taking a lot of heat in Week 2 for his inability to find his receivers in space, quarterback J.T. Barrett answered the call in Week 3.

Last week against Oklahoma, Barrett threw for 186 passing yards and an interception on 19-of-35 passing. It was a dreadful performance in a 31-16 loss at home.

Barrett had a much better day passing the ball, going 25-for-33 with 270 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. He also had 32 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Barrett threw touchdown passes to wide receivers Austin Mack and Terry McLaurin. Both players caught their first career touchdown passes in an Ohio State Buckeyes’ uniform.

It was a good sign for an offense searching for targets in the passing game for Barrett to throw to. Barrett did a nice job to spread the ball out to his receivers in the game.

Wide receiver K.J. Hill led the way eight receptions for 74 receiving yards. The Buckeyes offense didn’t have any turnovers in the game, either.
