B. . RB. Texas A&M. RUNNING BACKS

Barring a big performance from sophomore running back Kendall Bussey, the Aggie ground game was not very effective. For most of the game, the Aggies struggled to rack up even 3.0 yards per carry. ULL is not good against the run either.

Much of the problem running the ball came from the play calls and poor offensive line play, at times. It seemed like Texas A&M did not call run plays much, especially early in the game, when it would have made sense to run the ball.

Former Oklahoma transfer Keith Ford had some major trouble even racking up positive yardage. Ford rushed for negative yards on less than 10 carries. Meanwhile, Bussey rushed for nearly 100 yards and averaged close to 7.0 yards per carry. Freshman Jacob Kibodi rushed for a 67-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Star running back Trayveon Williams entered the game questionable and did not end up playing. He could return in Texas A&M’s SEC opener against the Arkansas Razorbacks next weekend on Sep. 23.
