The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets game against the UCF Knights was canceled this week due to Hurricane Irma so they remain idle in this week’s ACC power rankings. They return to action this week when they host Pittsburgh on Sept. 23 at 12:20pm on the east coast.

The 14th-ranked Miami Hurricanes remained out of action for the second week in a row as they let the dust settle from Hurricane Irma. They’ll return to action this week when they face the Toledo Rockets on Sept. 23 at 3:30pm eastern time.

The 12th-ranked Florida State Seminoles were the final team in the ACC that didn’t participate in college football action. They’re still looking for their first victory of the 2017 season. The Seminoles face the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Sept. 23 at noon to open up ACC play.

The 19th-ranked Louisville Cardinals drop a few notches after their disappointing loss to the 2nd-ranked Clemson Tigers.

The Cardinals looked shell-shocked outside of one solid offensive drive in the first half. Jackson still had 317 passing yards and three passing touchdowns but he also threw his first interception of the season, which was ran back for a touchdown.

Jackson had just 64 rushing yards on the day. It was the first game he was held below 100 rushing yards since Nov. 17, 2016 when the team faced the Houston Cougars.

The Cardinals have two more nonconference games before they start ACC play in October. Next up: Kent State. Lamar Jackson should bounce back nicely.
