Remember in week one when Missouri scored 72 points? Neither do the Tigers. Just when we though that Missouri had turned the corner and was going to be more competitive on offense, the Tigers turn around and revert to their old ways. Purdue might be an underrated team but their in no way a Big 10 heavyweight.

The Tiger defense is absolutely nonexistent, they have been all year. Problems abound for this team. Drew Lock is not a bad quarterback, he needs to find a way to lead his team. But at this point, I really don’t see how Missouri can compete in the SEC East. A coaching change at the end of the season, would not surprise me.

It was a tale of two halves in College Station this weekend. Louisiana looked capable of springing an upset in the first half of this game. But Texas A&M pinned their ears back and came out fighting in the second half to win comfortably.

Things still don’t look too good for head coach Kevin Sumlin, as far as his job is concerned. But it was good to see A&M not give up in this game and respond to adversity. That will serve them well headed into SEC play. Kellen Mond showed the talent that he has, and why he was regarded as a top prospect out of high school. Throwing for a touchdown, and rushing for another. Mond is a freshman, and there will be growing pains, but his future looks bright. The rest of the season should be interesting for the Aggies. We’ll know more when they face Arkansas next.
